Puppy course for English speaking puppy-owners

We have developed puppy courses to help you raise your puppy responsibly so that he/she can develop into a stable, socially skilled adult dog. A sociable dog does not cause problems, can handle other dogs, children, crowds and unexpected situations without becoming boisterous and noisy, violent or stressed. A happy dog enjoys his life and is happy to be with you and your family. You are the one who must ensure that your puppy can develop into a stable dog by guiding him well from the start. You will then enjoy your dog for the rest of his life!
Maximum group size: 6 puppies.

Puppy course
€ 150,-
10 lessons of 45 minutes: 30 minutes practicing and a 15 minutes question round
Dogs of 10 to 20 weeks old

Objective: You learn to guide your puppy responsibly in his/her development towards adulthood, without situations arising that could be detrimental to him/her. The puppy can therefore optimally develop into a stable, cheerful and socially skilled dog.

When to start? You can enroll in the puppy course when your puppy is between 10 and 20 weeks old. We strongly advise to start at 10 weeks because then a puppy learns how to deal with the world around him and what is normal in his world. The so-called socialization process. Everything he learns then has more impact and sticks more easily than later in life.

Course content:
• learning to walk on a leash (walking without pulling)
• learning to get along with other dogs
• learning to deal with other people
• getting used to sounds
• preventing biting of trousers/hands
• learning to be alone
• accept grooming exercises (brushing, combing, nail and dental care)
• toilet training
• come here; sit; lie
• child and dog
• in addition, all topics that you propose yourself

Duration of the course: The course consists of 10 lessons of 45 minutes. The lesson is divided into a practical part of 30 minutes. There will then be a 15-minute opportunity to ask questions and exchange experiences from that week.

Register and/or have questions? You can register via the button below. After registration you will receive a confirmation by email and an invitation to start by WhatsApp a few days before the start of the course. If you have any urgent questions about your puppy, it is possible to make a Pre-vac appointment.

Vaccination schedule: Which vaccinations does my puppy need?

Your puppy must have had at least two vaccinations before participating in the puppy course.

6 weeks vaccination: 1st vaccination (at the breeders)
• No. 1 Distemper
• No. 3 Parvo

9 weeks vaccination: 2nd vaccination
• No. 3 Parvo
• No. 4 Distemper
• No. 5 Liver disease
• No. 6 Weil's disease
• No. 7 Parainfluenza

You can therefore come on a course with your puppy one week after the second vaccination. For the health of all participating puppies, it is very important that your dog has had these two vaccinations. When your puppy is twelve weeks old, he will receive his third vaccination;

12 weeks vaccination: 3rd vaccination
• No. 3 Parvo
• No. 4 Distemper
• No. 5 Liver disease
• No. 6 Weil's disease
• No. 7 Parainfluenza

Kennel cough vaccination is not mandatory for the course, but is recommended. Also with a view to possible boarding care. You must ask your vet specifically for this because this vaccination is not included as standard in the large cocktail. It concerns number 8 (Bordetella) in the dog passport.
